Intent to Amend the 2019-2020 Transportation Planning Work Program (TPWP)

It is the intent for ROCOG to amend it’s 2019-2020 Transportation Planning Work Program (TPWP) to include a new 2019 Work Element entitled Rochester Downtown Circulator Transit-Oriented Development Planning. This action will occur at the regular ROCOG meeting at noon on April 26, 2019 at Conference Room A, Rochester-Olmsted Planning Department, Rochester, 2122 Campus Drive SE.

Funding will consists of: $765,000 in FTA funds with a local match of $367,500 to total $1,132,500. The direct recipient of the federal (Federal Transit Administration) funding is the City of Rochester. The local match is coming from a variety of sources and will be detailed in the amendment memo.

This TPWP amendment action is necessary for the City of Rochester to receive the FTA planning funds as all planning work receiving federal planning funds must be included in the ROCOG TPWP.
