Compost and Recycling

  1. The Compost Site is now open from 8 AM to 4:30 PM M-F.  It is not open on the weekends.  Please observe that the compost is only for compostable material, not for garbage and junk.
  2. Limited Garbage Service will begin on April 7 at 8 AM – 4:30 PM.  This service is for household food waste, not recyclables.
  3. Recycling Center will open on April 11, 8:00 – 4:30 PM.  Please help the staff by being considerate and following the bin labels.

Please note the traffic patterns for recycling and garbage has been changes.  Thank you for observing the directional signage.

Drive Through Testing at Graham Park

Yesterday say the most people tested.  156 tests were conducted.  If you are watching the number of COVID-19 cases by county, you will notice that Olmsted has more confirmed cases than other counties.  This is because Olmsted is performing more tests than other counties.

County Road 9

The construction on County Road 9 has begun.  The first portion of the project will remove the old road service, create the base for the concrete surface, and build the round about at the intersection of Silver Creek Road.  This first portion was bid at about $5 million.  The compost site is open, be aware that the detour signs have been posted.
