Two Olmsted County projects received engineering awards this year:

The Zumbro River Restoration in Oronoco received the Grand Award.

The Reconstruction of Olmsted County CSAH (County State Aid Highway) 22 and CSAH 33 received an Honor award.  The awards were given by the Association Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota.  We can be proud of the Engineering that Olmsted County staff provides and their work with contracted engineering services.

17 Trucks and 9 Road Graders Keep the Roads Open

Olmsted has seventeen trucks and nine road graders; all of them are used to plow snow and keep the county roads open.  520 miles of county roads and 270 miles of township roads are plowed by the county.  The County road crews have been working in this snow season to keep the roads open and safe. Please do your part by keeping a safe distance from the plows.
