Graham Briggs, the Director of Olmsted County Public Health, recently was interviewed on KTTC TV regarding recent National outbreaks of Salmonella. You can view the interview with this link: http://www.kttc.com/story/38770701/2018/07/30/10-active-salmonella-investigations-in-us-but-why-so-many
The Olmsted County Health Department is responsible for keeping food safe in restaurants. Whenever an outbreak of salmonella illness is reported and corroborated, the Public Health responds within 24 hours to investigate and correct the source of the outbreak. I support the County Public Health Department in its efforts to keep all of us safe. (The Public Health Department also checks all the pools in the hotels and Chester Woods lake to insure they are safe for patrons.)
