Prevent Accidental Deaths in Your Home

The 2017 Medical Examiners Office (often referred to as the County Coroner) released the updated statistic for 2017.  The leading cause of accidental deaths is falls.  Most falls occur in around the home. You can reduce the risk of an accidental death by reducing or eliminating objects or conditions that may cause a fall.

The Rochester/Olmsted Falls Prevention Coalition is a network of services, serving citizens over age 55, whose mission is to decrease the number and severity of falls in order to help people maintain a high level of independence in their home.
