Nexus Family Healing and the SERCC + The Road to Recycling: Energy Parkway

Nexus Family Healing and the SERCC

The Southeast Regional Crisis Center (SERCC) has contracted with Nexus Family Healing as the operations partner for the Crisis Center.  The SERCC Executive team is made up of representatives from Olmsted and Goodhue counties, Mayo Clinic, Olmsted Medical Center, and NAMI.  The crises Center will provide mental health care to people in Southeast Minnesota (10 counties)  24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  The facility is scheduled to open in 2021.

Nexus Family Healing is a national nonprofit mental and behavioral health organization that has a great track record of providing mental health services to children, teens, adults and families.

The Road to Recycling:  Energy Parkway

The Name of the road that goes to the recycling center and the OWEF (Olmsted Waste to Energy Facility) has been changed to Energy Parkway.  The name change is due to confusion with two roads with the Silver Creek Road name:  Quarry Hill Nature Center and the Recycling Center.  With County Road 9 and the road to the recycling center being reconstructed, this is a good time for a name change.  It will reduce confusion and is a name that better describes the output of the OWEF.  Look for the sign with the new name at the roundabout that turns into the recycling center.  The road will also carry the designation of County 155.
