National Night Out takes place the first Tuesday night in August every summer. This is an event to promote neighborhood friendship and to reduce neighborhood crime. It is a good opportunity for people to get to know others in the neighborhood and enhance community building. You can register your neighborhood gathering at CopTalkLive.com or call 507.328-6777.

The Sheriff’s Office reports that crime rates in Olmsted County have declined over the past decade. I support the Sheriff’s Office in its efforts to keep the county safe.
