Declining Crime Rates & National Night Out

National Night Out takes place the first Tuesday night in August every summer.  This is an event to promote neighborhood friendship and to reduce neighborhood crime.  It is a good opportunity for people to get to know others in the neighborhood and enhance community building.  You can register your neighborhood gathering at CopTalkLive.com or call 507.328-6777.

For more information please Google Olmsted County Sheriff National Night Out or try this link: https://www.co.olmsted.mn.us/sheriff/divisions/lec/crimeprevention/Pages/NationalNightOut.aspx

The Sheriff’s Office reports that crime rates in Olmsted County have declined over the past decade.  I support the Sheriff’s Office in its efforts to keep the county safe.
