Updates: Resident Survey, Credit Rating, and Water & Soil

Updates

Resident Survey

You may be randomly selected to do an Olmsted County survey.  Through a random selection process, 4,200 households will receive a survey.  Instruction will accompany the survey.  Every three years a survey is taken.  If you receive a survey, please complete it and return it according to the instructions.

“Triple A” Credit Rating

Olmsted County received another Aaa credit opinion from Moody’s.  “Aaa” is the highest credit rating that Moody’s gives.  Olmsted is one of few counties in the country that receives this highest rating.  I have supported a budget and limited spending to maintain this rating.

Caring For Our Water and Soil

If you would like to know more about how a healthy watershed is maintained please view the storymap for The Watershed Alliance of the Greater Zumbro.  The topics include the history of the watershed, the watershed area, the goals, priorities and focus areas of the planning to take care of the watershed.  The Greater Zumbro Watershed is only one of three watersheds that Olmsted County has.  There are separate alliances and planning for each watershed.  I support the One Watershed One Plan for each watershed to protect the soil and water in our county and region.  You can find the storymap and other documents maintained on the Olmsted County website at:
